Try before you buy — including renting it first
Most of what we sell, we also rent. If you are not sure whether a bag is warm enough or a rucksack fits, take it out on a trip first. It is a better test than ten minutes in a shop.
Come in and see it either way. Boots in particular should never be bought online, and a rucksack that fits one back badly fits another perfectly.

The store is at Lake City Plaza, Karan Nagar, open daily. Message us on WhatsApp with what you are after and we will confirm whether it is in stock before you make the trip.
We do not currently sell online or ship. Everything is over the counter in Srinagar.

- Refundable, returned at the end of your hire. Nothing is withheld without photographs of the damage.
- Your documents stay with you
- We photograph your licence and ID. We never keep originals — you may need them at a checkpoint.
- Inspection at both ends
- Condition, odometer and fuel are photographed with you present, at collection and at return.
- Delivery
- Free collection from Srinagar. Delivery to hotels, houseboats and trailheads for a distance-based fee.

Should I buy or rent?
If you camp once or twice a year, rent — a good tent and two sleeping bags cost more than most Kashmir trips. If you are out most weekends, buying pays for itself quickly. We do both, so we have no reason to push you either way.
Do you sell ski gear for Gulmarg?
We rent ski and snowboard equipment for the Gulmarg winter season from December through February, and stock cold-weather layers year round. Ask us about the current season.
